I may have mentioned, once or twice, that one of my absolute favorite things on this earth is crispie cake, last Easter my sister made me a whole tray with mini eggs, creme eggs and malteaser bunnies to garnish… It was actually a wonderful day and a fond memory of mine… BUT in the interest of body fat % and well-being I have requested that no such sabotage is to occur this year!
I recently discovered Cocoa+ high protein chocolate and decided to create my own crispie treats, free of guilt and high in gains! Here are my Easter peanut butter chocolate protein nests, complete with mini eggs, because I am not a monster!
Here is what you need:
1 bar Cocoa+ High Protein Chocolate 70g
4tbsp Smooth Peanut butter
Mini eggs and/or Milkybar eggs
Fairy Cake cases
Here is what you do (yes there’s a ‘How to’ for crispie cake):
Melt and combine the Cocoa+ and PB in a bowl
Mix in the cornflakes (depending on how chocolaty you like it)
Separate into the fairy cases ~in a nest shape
Add the mini eggs
Leave to set in the fridge for 20 minutes
Enjoy!! For anyone local to Somerset I picked up the Cocoa+ high protein chocolate from Progress Gym in Yeovil. I was beyond excited to find somewhere so close to home that stocks some of my favorite brands; Quest, Dr Zaks, Nuts n More, Walden Farms as well as finding some incredible new products, Hognuts Bakin’ Butters (this is incredible stuff) and Oh Yeah Low Carb Protein Bars, which have changed my life for the better; the best part is not having to wait for shipping! Happy Easter Everyone!
